What we're all about? The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a non-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.

Hello SWE-sters! Welcome to the Society of Women Engineers University of Arizona Student Section (B050 - Sonora Region)

We are a student run club whose main goal is to foster better ties among women in engineering and to empower them to succeed and advance in their careers as engineers.

The meeting dates for the Spring 2011 are January 24th, February 28th, March 28th, and April 25th.  All meetings are at 5pm in ENGR Room 214.  If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please email our section President, Kiona Meade, at kymeade@email.arizona.edu.
